The challenge

Techmall is a well-known Nigerian technology retailer, but organisations don't buy the way shoppers do. A school, hospital, ministry or growing company needs formal quotes, bulk orders, approvals and a clear point of contact, not just a product page and a cart.

Techmall needed a dedicated business storefront, separate from its consumer store, that speaks directly to SMEs, enterprises, the public sector, healthcare and education, and makes it easy to go from "we need 40 laptops" to a quote on the table.

What we built

Techmall Business, a B2B procurement site on WordPress and WooCommerce:

  • A business catalogue of 383 products across 10 categories, from desktop computers and networking to power solutions, servers and software, with keyword, brand and item search.
  • Sector journeys with dedicated pages for SMEs, Enterprises, Public Sector, Healthcare and Education, so each buyer lands on content that reflects their needs.
  • Request a Quote as a first-class path alongside the cart, for bulk and formal purchases.
  • Business accounts with registration, profile management and password reset, so returning buyers can manage their orders.
  • Clear value propositions for business buyers: self-serve tools, flexible payments including net terms, e-procurement support, BizPoints rewards and dedicated account managers.
  • Built for speed with page caching and minified assets, plus a direct link back to the main Techmall consumer store.

What changed

The platform rolled out in phases: brand and sector pages in November and December 2025, the full store with cart and checkout in February 2026, then business registration and the quote workflow in March 2026.

Today business buyers can browse 383 products, filter by category and price, request a formal quote online or check out directly, all from a storefront designed around how organisations actually purchase technology.
